"I grieve because I love. I wrote this song as a heartfelt tribute to my beloved grandma Sofya who passed away unexpectedly three years ago. I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye before she died. It was heavy on me and it happened all of a sudden just before COVID-19 lockdown. I learned so much from her during my childhood and teenage years. She was the embodiment of selflessness, hard work and love clothed in strength and dignity.
